Welcome back to another episode of Resilient AF with
Speaker:Blair and Alana. But you'll notice Alana is not here today, so we're
Speaker:gonna pause Alana and bring in Monica. Monica
Speaker:Ion is the founder of the School of Universal Laws at FTP
Speaker:methodology. Spending fifteen thousand hours between
Speaker:/:Speaker:she has supported entrepreneurs to achieve exponential growth and assisted women in
Speaker:creating personal, financial, and professional fulfillment. Earning degrees
Speaker:in psychology and sociology combined with a background in math and
Speaker:science, Monica discovered the seven universal laws, a
Speaker:framework that makes client breakthroughs predictable and repeatable.
Speaker:Universal laws are a fundamental principle sorry. Universal laws are
Speaker:fundamental principles that are thought to govern the
Speaker:structure and behavior of the universe. They are seen as
Speaker:constant, unchanging, and applicable to all things regardless of time
Speaker:or space. The seven universal laws that Monica uses
Speaker:are found to be the most relevant to understanding how the mind operates and
Speaker:creates lasting transformation. Monica is the cofounder of
Speaker:Inspired Life Circle and was rated Romania's number one coach
Speaker:by the country's top business leaders. Her expertise has been featured in
Speaker:media outlets such as Forbes, BDTV, The Women,
Speaker:and her forthcoming book, The Seven Universal Laws, will be available on
Speaker:Amazon in May:Speaker:have you here today, Monica. Welcome.
Speaker:Hi, Blair. Thank you very much for having me. Since we
Speaker:met and we connected from heart to heart, you have a special place
Speaker:in my life. Thank you very much for having me here. Oh, it's an honor.
Speaker:And so I met Monica a few years ago through her husband. We were at
Speaker:the same event. You know, we live in very different parts of the world. We
Speaker:were both in Mexico at this event, and we had a beautiful dinner together.
Speaker:And she actually met me in a time of
Speaker:chaos right after my parents had died. And
Speaker:so it's so beautiful that our friendship has evolved and that
Speaker:you've seen me do the growth, the healing, the work.
Speaker:And as I've gotten to know you and learn more about the seven universal laws
Speaker:framework, I'm able to see actually some of it
Speaker:that I've been doing without knowing I'm doing it, but also have more
Speaker:awareness on how to apply them to my life, to my
Speaker:business, to my healing. So for me, it's an honor to have you here
Speaker:and an honor to share your expertise with our community. So thank
Speaker:you. Thank you. So we have a
Speaker:few things in common, and something that we have in common
Speaker:is that both of our moms have passed away.
Speaker:Yes. So let's let's talk about your mom. I would love to
Speaker:know the story of your mom, her name, and
Speaker:what happened.
Speaker:This might get emotional for me. My
Speaker:mom passed away five years ago. Her name was
Speaker:Eva. And, you know, I had
Speaker:I think I had one of the most spiritual experiences,
Speaker:with her passing away. What happened is that we knew
Speaker:that she's, terminally ill. And I
Speaker:was there next to her almost every day,
Speaker:you know, trying to support her, cheer her, be with her, just be with
Speaker:her. And the doctor asked me if I want to be
Speaker:next to her if she's gonna have her last breath.
Speaker:And I said yes. So one of the evenings, the doctor
Speaker:called, and he said, this is the night when it's gonna
Speaker:happen. And he asked me if I want to be
Speaker:there with my mom. So I said yes because I knew I had to be
Speaker:here I had to be there. I didn't know why, but I just knew
Speaker:that I have to be there. So I called my dad and we all
Speaker:went we both went to the hospital, and we spent the
Speaker:night with my mom. I was aware of the law of
Speaker:transformation because here is
Speaker:when life and the laws of the universe come together.
Speaker:I was aware of the law of transformation, and I was so so curious to
Speaker:see how it plays out. So in the
Speaker:morning, when the sun was rising up, my mom,
Speaker:had her last breath. We talked with my dad and we said,
Speaker:look, when this happens, from what we learned,
Speaker:we have to be there and, you know, just saying to the person that it's
Speaker:all fine. You're okay. We are here for you.
Speaker:So we went out because in Romania, there have to be,
Speaker:this resuscitation procedure, regardless
Speaker:what's the stage of the, patient. So they tried to do
Speaker:that. It was too brutal for me to assist to that. So we went out,
Speaker:on a balcony, in the hospital, and, you know, we just
Speaker:spent some time with mom, connecting with mom. And when we
Speaker:came back in to the hallway, we met the doctor and two
Speaker:nurses there. And the law of
Speaker:transformation says that nothing is missing. It just
Speaker:transforms, and you have a a new form. So I
Speaker:was looking for my mom to show up there,
Speaker:and the doctor spoke with a voice, which was very
Speaker:similar to my mom's. He had this kindness, this empathy
Speaker:nurses had brown eyes exactly like my mom had
Speaker:and that, you know, kind, warm look. So I couldn't
Speaker:believe that my mom was already there. It was just, you know, minutes away,
Speaker:from the moment she passed, and she was already there in a different form.
Speaker:And I will just share the next step of the story, not the whole
Speaker:thing. We went home with my dad afterwards and you
Speaker:know my dad is this kind of guy that expects the woman to put the
Speaker:food in front of him and prepare the coffee for him.
Speaker:And we were at the time, we were in my flat
Speaker:in Transylvania. So when we went back
Speaker:home like never, my father prepared the
Speaker:coffee for me and the food for me as my mom
Speaker:usually did when she was visiting me. So here
Speaker:again, my mom was present, and I felt so much gratitude, and I
Speaker:felt her presence there. It was unbelievable.
Speaker:So she didn't I didn't feel that she leave she left.
Speaker:She was present there with me with us, and I was
Speaker:just grateful to be able to connect with her in this
Speaker:new form. Wow.
Speaker:First, Monica, I am so sorry for your loss,
Speaker:and thank you for sharing all of that. May your mom's memory be a
Speaker:blessing. And it's really
Speaker:interesting because now this is I've heard you tell this story a few times, and
Speaker:every time you tell it, I have these flashbacks to my
Speaker:personal experience with how my mom is showing up in different ways.
Speaker:And I think it's so beautiful that you walked into that experience
Speaker:with that lens. Then
Speaker:this is amazing. Yeah. Sorry. I was just gonna say just because having that
Speaker:lens of transformation knowing that her energy is still
Speaker:present or her soul and then it's gonna, you know, show up in different ways
Speaker:must have brought you a level of comfort,
Speaker:like, walking into that. Definitely.
Speaker:Definitely. I was I knew what to look for.
Speaker:So it happened. It was right there in front of my eyes, and it
Speaker:happened again and again and again. And the other side of the
Speaker:law of transformation says that whatever the form
Speaker:is manifesting in, it's happening for
Speaker:you. So my mom leaving,
Speaker:she gave me the greatest presence she could give me
Speaker:because she opened the space for other moms
Speaker:to step up who were really able to support me
Speaker:in my highest value, in what's important to me With
Speaker:what she was, with what she knew, with everything from
Speaker:her being, she did everything. And then
Speaker:she gave me this enormous gift to create the space
Speaker:for other people to step up, to play the
Speaker:role of the mom in relationship with me and to actually
Speaker:support my growth in a way she couldn't do anymore. She wasn't
Speaker:able. She didn't have the gifts for that anymore. I think that's
Speaker:really beautiful, and thank you for sharing all of that.
Speaker:And, you know, if you're listening out there and you have yet to lose
Speaker:a parent or someone you love, you know, I wanna
Speaker:invite you to to dive into Monica's seven universal laws and
Speaker:learn more about the law of transformation. And, Monica, so there's
Speaker:seven universal laws in your framework. We've talked about the law of transformation.
Speaker:What are the six other laws in the framework?
Speaker:The law of duality, which I consider is the foundation
Speaker:for everything. The law of reflection that states
Speaker:that whatever you see in others is you have within. The law
Speaker:of order, which is connected with the manifestation and the
Speaker:ability to manifest. You manifest to the degree of the order you have in
Speaker:life. The law of synchronicity that states that
Speaker:support and challenge are there always simultaneously.
Speaker:The law of heuristic escalation, which states that if
Speaker:you want something very, very much, you are actually pushing it away.
Speaker:And the law of fractals that says that there is no chaos, there is
Speaker:a hidden order in everything.
Speaker:Yeah. You know, that last one, there's a hidden order, there is no chaos.
Speaker:Oh, man. There's times in my life where where I wish I would have known
Speaker:about that because sometimes life feels so chaotic.
Speaker:And, you know, I'm I'm learning about these laws, and
Speaker:it's really eye opening because it's science and it's, you know,
Speaker:spirituality and it's math and physics all
Speaker:combined, and there's scientific proof. So, like, it has, yeah, a
Speaker:bit of woo, and I love it. Like, I'm a wooju. I'm wooish and Jewish,
Speaker:but but there's science. And when something is is backed by
Speaker:science, it's really hard to deny its existence. Right?
Speaker:I agree. And this is why I love them because it
Speaker:answers also to my need for logic and
Speaker:science and, you know, scientifically proven things.
Speaker:And at the same time, it brings you to the highest level
Speaker:of spirituality you can have. So for me, spirituality is
Speaker:actually the expression and manifestation of these
Speaker:universal laws. And when you are able to align with
Speaker:them, which is, you know, not always happens perfectly.
Speaker:You kind of forget and then you get back to center. When you have
Speaker:that and you are aligned, you truly feel that there is
Speaker:a meaning in this life. There is a purpose for you to serve and
Speaker:to manifest. And there is this higher order you
Speaker:are part of, and that life is basically
Speaker:beautiful with all the challenges we are facing. And when
Speaker:you see the other side of the challenge, which is the law of duality in
Speaker:action, see the blessings of a challenge, or see the downside
Speaker:of something you are in love with. When you are seeing that, you
Speaker:literally feel one with everything. It takes a bit of
Speaker:exercise because, you know, when you have still past trauma or, you
Speaker:know, big judgements, heavy judgements, and you
Speaker:carry emotional weight, it takes a bit until you
Speaker:release those and you transform those. But afterwards,
Speaker:you're in this space where you can consciously create
Speaker:your destiny, which I think is amazing. I think we are here for
Speaker:that. I love that. And there like, just to be clear,
Speaker:like, there are more than seven universal laws.
Speaker:You specifically chose these seven. Do you wanna share with our
Speaker:listeners how you discovered the universal laws and how
Speaker:you came up with this specific framework?
Speaker:Sure. Gladly. The first encounter with the
Speaker:universal laws was through the book, called Kybalion,
Speaker:where there are universal laws mentioned. For my
Speaker:taste and for my inner alignment, it wasn't
Speaker:scientifically enough and also it wasn't enough to
Speaker:apply it to human psychology. So I studied more and
Speaker:more and I started to work with these from different
Speaker:courses, different courses in physics, in
Speaker:sciences, in, psychology also. And
Speaker:I started to use them one by one until I
Speaker:integrated them in this framework, which you can
Speaker:use for every to sort out every
Speaker:problem a human being can have. And there there are
Speaker:protocols that are based on these universal laws that you
Speaker:can use to solve any problem. For instance, there is
Speaker:this challenge people have with imposter syndrome or,
Speaker:with, lack of confidence. So
Speaker:this can be translated into universal laws. I will stay I
Speaker:will take the imposter syndrome. The imposter syndrome
Speaker:basically means that you appreciate somebody and you hold up
Speaker:that person as being the standard, and you are not recognising
Speaker:your own value. So we use the law of reflection to see
Speaker:whatever you admire in them, you have within, and we
Speaker:are looking for the specific form you have that
Speaker:in because that's your gift. And the story I'm
Speaker:sharing here is about me admiring my dad's mathematical intelligence
Speaker:and scientific intelligence, and I want it to be like he
Speaker:was, like he still is. I want it to be like that. I
Speaker:want it to please him, to prove him that, you know,
Speaker:I'm worthy of his appreciation. But when I did when I did
Speaker:the exercise using the law of reflection on
Speaker:him, I noticed that my intelligence my intelligence expands more than
Speaker:the mathematical and scientifical intelligence,
Speaker:because I'm able to pick up on emotions, to understand how
Speaker:things are connected in one person's mind, and how they create a certain
Speaker:reality out of that. And that's a different type of intelligence. And
Speaker:when I embrace that, my business
Speaker:really skyrocketed because I integrated who I
Speaker:am truly in my business.
Speaker:Wow. That's phenomenal. I think that's that's really
Speaker:cool. And so these seven universal laws,
Speaker:you know, you you began applying them to clients, and you
Speaker:quickly rose to be the number one coach in
Speaker:Romania. And now you're bringing your
Speaker:expertise outside the borders of Romania to business leaders,
Speaker:entrepreneurs, you know, women all over the
Speaker:world. What
Speaker:what advice do you have for those
Speaker:well, maybe we'll just I'll make it very specific. So someone like me, a
Speaker:woman entrepreneur who is two decades
Speaker:into her career, who wants to make more money,
Speaker:more impact. How do
Speaker:I begin applying these seven universal laws so
Speaker:that I can achieve these goals?
Speaker:Sure. That's a very good question. And for me, it's related to
Speaker:exponential growth. And, there are
Speaker:some layers, and it can it can be a bit complicated when you
Speaker:actually are doing it. But imagine that you are at a
Speaker:certain level now. And the reason for which your
Speaker:brain chooses to stay at that level, maybe when you are there
Speaker:for, I don't know, two, three years and you didn't grow for the last
Speaker:or not to the degree you expect it to grow. Then it
Speaker:means for your brain that you perceive that you have,
Speaker:you know, more benefits than drawbacks at that level.
Speaker:More benefits than drawbacks means you have attachments and you have
Speaker:some, connections that you feel that
Speaker:you need and you don't want to let go of. For
Speaker:instance, you have certain friendships which would be affected if
Speaker:you would earn 10 times more. Just the subconscious
Speaker:mind, it's not that you are thinking that way, it's that your subconscious mind is
Speaker:stating that. Or if you are earning 10 times more, what would
Speaker:happen with your relationship with your family and others?
Speaker:And there is a perceived negativity in that as
Speaker:a threat, and also is a perceived positivity in
Speaker:staying there. So it's a threat if you leave, it's a benefit if you
Speaker:are staying. This means that your mind is just
Speaker:has this balance which has to be transformed. And
Speaker:the next level would be, which you can
Speaker:visualize how it looks like and you have a person which
Speaker:represents best the next level. So after
Speaker:entang detangling these connect conditionings that are
Speaker:keeping you to the level to that level, we
Speaker:see where you can grow. And we use, for instance, the law of reflection
Speaker:to see whatever that person you perceive, it's at that
Speaker:level you already have within positive traits and
Speaker:negative traits, and that gives you an exponential growth. So
Speaker:this is a general approach to the exponential growth. If we
Speaker:are taking it to to money, we can ask the same questions.
Speaker:What are your benefits that you have this certain amount of annual
Speaker:income, and what would have been the drawbacks? What would be the drawbacks if
Speaker:you've add 10 times more? And then we see what
Speaker:are the subconscious reasons for which your
Speaker:mind prefers to have this specific income, not 10 times
Speaker:more. And then we work on dissolving those.
Speaker:Wow. I just wanna work with you. Like, let's stop recording this
Speaker:podcast, and let's let's dive in. I think that's a it's
Speaker:just so it seems so simple.
Speaker:Like, once you know the framework, it just seems like why aren't
Speaker:we all doing this, You know, for
Speaker:every aspect of our life. I I mean, I'm just it's so fascinating.
Speaker:Okay. One more one more question kind of, like, on how to apply it. Because
Speaker:this podcast is about resilience, and life throws
Speaker:us curve balls. You know, illness, injury, grief, all
Speaker:sorts of challenges, work, personal health with
Speaker:ourselves. Maybe we'll just use
Speaker:the the grief aspect because you and I started talking about
Speaker:that at the beginning of our interview. How can
Speaker:we use these seven universal laws
Speaker:to help us navigate grief in right when the
Speaker:grief happens, usually, it's just so painful and you feel like it's never
Speaker:gonna end. How can we use these seven universal laws
Speaker:to start to heal? Great
Speaker:question. The first law I would apply is
Speaker:the law of transformation. When somebody
Speaker:passes away and then they are not in this life anymore,
Speaker:we are missing usually the traits that we really
Speaker:appreciate about that person. We are not missing the traits that
Speaker:we would, you know, that we're pushing our buttons.
Speaker:So make a list of all the traits you perceive you are lacking, you
Speaker:are missing. And then for each of the traits,
Speaker:see who is displaying those traits towards you.
Speaker:Because they are picked up on immediately. Somebody shows
Speaker:them, displays them towards you, manifests them towards you.
Speaker:And then see what are the benefits to you
Speaker:that the the trait shows up in this new form.
Speaker:Because this is when you realise that it happens for
Speaker:you. So you apply the law of transformation, seeing who picked up
Speaker:on the new trait. And then we apply the law of duality by
Speaker:seeing what are the blessings of the new form the trait
Speaker:shows up. And if you do it, you know, consequently, you do
Speaker:all the traits. Usually, there are about seven traits that someone is
Speaker:missing. When you see how those are happening
Speaker:for you, not to you, and then you see the gift
Speaker:of the person living. And I know it can sound a
Speaker:bit, you know, strange, the gift of the person living. But in
Speaker:every situation is an equal blessing to the pain we
Speaker:perceive. So the more the pain, the bigger the blessing.
Speaker:And when you are seeing that, we actually able we are actually able to
Speaker:honor the person who left because we are not attached to
Speaker:a specific form. We recognize everything they did, and we
Speaker:recognize the perfection of them leading in a specific
Speaker:moment. Wow. That's powerful.
Speaker:And okay. So so that's a really great activity.
Speaker:You know, listing those those traits, you know, around seven, you
Speaker:know, seeing how they're showing up in other people or in your
Speaker:life. What else can we do?
Speaker:Well,
Speaker:I'm not sure. Maybe just
Speaker:accept that griefing is very
Speaker:conditioned culturally. There are people,
Speaker:who are celebrating when somebody's dying. For
Speaker:the Nordic people going to Valhalla was an honor and they were
Speaker:waiting for that to happen, and they were celebrating that.
Speaker:So all of I mean, a lot of what we are
Speaker:feeling, they are just emotions we think
Speaker:we should feel when something happens
Speaker:because we saw it in others. So by being
Speaker:enlightened when somebody dies, it can feel strange, but
Speaker:it doesn't have to be. So when you're thinking about your
Speaker:life like this and you are questioning why do you feel
Speaker:something, if there it's there, do you really need to grieve, do you really
Speaker:need to spend two two years in grieving,
Speaker:then you start to accept that the
Speaker:reality you are perceiving as being reality is way more colorful,
Speaker:and there are different ways of thinking that can help you to
Speaker:expand your perspectives. And one of the most
Speaker:blissful way of thinking is to understand that everything
Speaker:is happening for you.
Speaker:Pretty profound, and I think that is really beautiful. I actually bought this
Speaker:book. I can't remember what it's called right now, but it's a beautiful coffee table
Speaker:book. And it talks about the different cultures around death
Speaker:and grief around the world. And there's a lot of really
Speaker:beautiful traditions, and what you just
Speaker:said is a really beautiful way to look at it. So
Speaker:thank you for that. Thank you. Oh, I mean,
Speaker:I just think anyone that can be in your world is, you know, going to
Speaker:learn and even learn quickly how to apply these
Speaker:seven universal laws to their life, whether it's personal health, relationships,
Speaker:business. How can people work with you?
Speaker:Like, if someone's like, I wanna I wanna work with Monica. Like, I know that
Speaker:you're not really taking clients. You have a wait list. Like, how can people work
Speaker:with you? That's a great question too. Thank
Speaker:you. We just launched the School of Universal
Speaker:Laws. This is where if somebody wants to learn how to apply
Speaker:these laws for themselves or even to support
Speaker:clients through coaching or therapy, that's a great start
Speaker:that's a great place to start. Another way is
Speaker:to sign up for these, shorter programs.
Speaker:There are two available right now in English. One is
Speaker:Power on Heals, which is for women to work on their past and their
Speaker:trauma, from the past. And also the second one
Speaker:is Inspired Money Foundation. This supports
Speaker:you to grow your inner, self
Speaker:worth so you can create a bigger container for the money to
Speaker:come in. It's very scientifical. I know it doesn't sound so, but it
Speaker:has a logic behind it. And,
Speaker:the last thing, as you mentioned at the beginning, we are launching
Speaker:the book with the seven universal laws in May
Speaker:year. So you'll find it in you will find it on Amazon. I'm looking forward
Speaker:to it. Yes. I'm looking forward to it. I
Speaker:I mean, there's so many different ways. Maybe one of Monica's
Speaker:programs is right for you. Maybe you wanna have a book and carry
Speaker:Monica around with you. You know, I
Speaker:think and, I mean, both of them will feed into each other. Someone might get
Speaker:the book and wanna work with you in one of your programs and vice versa.
Speaker:And I think it's such a gift that you're now in the English speaking world
Speaker:because we really need this right now. Like, there's a lot
Speaker:of turmoil out there. And and as as we
Speaker:are becoming more evolved, we're all becoming more in tune with our
Speaker:emotions and and our feelings
Speaker:and having these tools to help us navigate
Speaker:as we stop numbing and start living, I think, is going to help
Speaker:us live the fullest human experience.
Speaker:So well said. And you're right. Especially
Speaker:now, especially now with so many extreme emotions and
Speaker:so many polarities, you know, just having one one of these
Speaker:laws, like the law of duality, to be able to get back to center.
Speaker:And even though outside, there are a lot of things
Speaker:happening, still being able to create your own life and your
Speaker:own destiny. I think that's amazing. That's powerful. It
Speaker:is. I love this. So as we wrap up, I know you gave a lot
Speaker:of advice and tips, but I would love for you to share a piece of
Speaker:advice for someone who's about to lose their mother, you
Speaker:know, in relation to the law of transformation. What advice do you
Speaker:have?
Speaker:To search for the gift your mother prepared to
Speaker:give to you. That's beautiful.
Speaker:So, Monica, thank you for being a guest on Resilient
Speaker:AF. It is anytime I get to spend with you is is a gift
Speaker:and an honor, and I'm so grateful to bring your
Speaker:expertise to our community. So thank you so much.
Speaker:Thank you very much, Blair. It has been an honor, and I look forward for
Speaker:our next connections, next meetings. Thank you. Which is gonna be
Speaker:in Bali. I'm so excited. Yes. For those of you who are new to my
Speaker:world, I've started to cofacilitate grief retreats, and I'm doing
Speaker:my first grief retreat, with Rachel in Bali, and I get
Speaker:to meet Monica. So I'm in person. I mean, again, I get to hang out
Speaker:with her, but, essentially, I get to spend time with her. And I'm
Speaker:just so excited for that because I love my time with Monica. And
Speaker:you wanna get more of Monica in your life in the show notes or her
Speaker:links. And just remember, friends, we do this every week.
