Well, hello, hello. Welcome back to another episode of dissecting success. It's me, Blair Kaplan Venables, and I'm here with the one the only Teresa Lambert. Hello, summer. Well, for some of us, it still feels like fall, or spring or winter, depending on which part of the world you're in. And now we're full blown into summer we've passed the first long weekend of summer, kids are off school, parents are ready to send their kids back to school, I think I mean, I don't know, I just have a few friends on social media who are making some really funny posts. But I wanted to talk about what am I up to this summer. What is Theresa up to this summer? You know, I have spent June really promoting the global Resilience Project and other books I've been a part of and my empowerment program. And June was busy. And if you've heard me talk about this before, busyness is chaotic for me, I don't like chaos. I want to be fulfilled. But sometimes you got to jump into the busy. And so I made a very conscious strategic decision to have a very creative, mellow, fulfilling summer. So I thought why not take this episode to talk about what are we up to this summer? And how can you work with us this summer? Because I love summer. I love Spring, Summer fall, but summer is where it's at. Especially because some of my most favorite things to do happen in the summer. So why don't we just share what we're up to this summer and how you can work with us if this tickles your fancy.

Theresa Lambert:

I love that. I love that. And I feel like summer is such a different vibe from winter. But having said that, like I'm about to embark on a journey out of fall into the never ending summer that is basically like what's next for me. But no, I love that. And also I love this so much planned because I think that for so many entrepreneurs with so many coaches for so many business owners out there like summer is also this time where we're kind of leaning back and like we want to be outside especially if you live in the northern hemisphere and, and I totally get that. And I feel like you know, depending on where you are in your business, depending on your goals that you have for your business, depending on what your goals and aspirations and ambitions are, quite frankly, you may have more of a leanback summer or more of a summer where you continue to show up in really powerful ways. And I find that there's two layers to summer. As a business owner, you can do two things. One, you're really showing up with powerful intention and calling in specific clients that you want to work with. And I feel like that's what blend I at and I'm excited to talk about what we've got coming up individually. But also the other thing to do is to really take the summer to step into the CEO vibes to take the summer to step into doing some of the behind the scenes things and getting ready for a big fall for big like Christmas like we have so many sales coming up in the in the last quarter of the year. Like the last quarter of the year is huge. And it gets to be huge. And the cool thing is we can maximise on summer so when we do that what ends up happening is we can run our businesses over the summer in a way that allows us extra spaciousness extra time so you can 10 like I do 10 When it doesn't fucking rain for once, like we're back on a 10 day streak of rain after two days of sunshine. I'm grateful for the sunshine but people like it's been like a hard summer so far. But the thing is Then I get to be outside and 10 then I get to be outside and play. And I can still do the things I said that I'm going to do over the summer and I serve in a different way over the summer that allows me to be on less calls, quite frankly, and spend more time outside. But I'm also working on VT getting ready for everything that's to come and fall like I am laying the foundation. I am building behind the scenes thing. I'm improving things that I want to improve so that I can do that. So I do a bit of both because I'm like, like I am manifest manifesting to be on that plane on August 22. I'm pretty sure I'm going to the post office today to pick up my passport papers that were rejected that had been lost. And after six months, I believe later today they will be in my hands. Which means I can restart the process. My bad knowing I'm going to be on a plane on august 22 two burners Iris, I want to make sure the next seven eight weeks. I'm like on

Blair Kaplan Venables:

Okay, wait, have you booked those tickets yet?

Theresa Lambert:

I'm going to book them um, when you

Blair Kaplan Venables:

buy when when are you booking? When do you what are you desiring to book them by? Let's hold you accountable.

Theresa Lambert:

Um, I will book it by the end of July.

Blair Kaplan Venables:

So by July 31 those tickets to Argentina are yet to be booked.

Theresa Lambert:

Yeah, they'll be from here to Argentina and then from Argentina to Costa Rica.

Blair Kaplan Venables:

Like you and I love it. Oh my gosh. Teresa. I love that and I think that's so good. And you know, last summer if anyone watches the news and the you get news about Canada last summer was like apocalyptic like I moved to Kamloops. And it was a heat dome and a firestorm and like the area I lived in was on fire and like towns burned down. And you know, it was the complete opposite. This year. It's even apparently very wet for Kamloops. Like it's been raining a lot. But I'll take the pockets of sun. And honestly, it's great to have a break from the fires. And I'm trying to see the good and everything like I don't actually need to go out and water my garden because nature does it for me, which is good, because I'm kind of lazy. But I love it. So I'm so excited for the summer. So like I was making a list of like, what am I up to this summer that I'm really excited about. And camping is my most favorite thing to do. And so we actually rented a property a few hours from home that's off the grid near a lake, and we put our camper there. So it's like we have a little cabin recreation spot. It's beautiful two acres, I actually haven't physically been to this specific spot. My husband's out a few times. So I'm going out this weekend. But I'm just so excited because it's somewhere that I can drive to on my own or with friends or with my husband. But June was so bananas, I went from the concrete jungle, and I'm going to the actual actual forest. I'm super pumped because I'm working on a kid's book about resilience. And I want it oh by Christmas. And I've made the decision to make it a coloring book. So it's going to be a really, really cool book that is available to my friends and their kids and anyone else they want to share it with. I am going to I have a cool idea for the global Resilience Project that I'm just hashing out. Because I think there's probably going to be a second book like on Friday, what like, you know, today's Monday, we're recording this, you're not listening until a week after but we hit publish on the printed version of the global Resilience Project book. So the printed version is now out. And we've had a lot of interest in people being a part of another book. So I'm working on that. But really, I'm going to kayak and paddleboard and nap and lie in a hammock and watch the birds and the leaves and the clouds. And I'm going to create and I'm going to really work with my energy. And I invested in a satellite for the spot. Yes, for off grid, I love it. But I also want to be able to do work while I'm out there. So I can still be available for my work and my clients and be able to turn it off. And I'm really excited because my husband tested it out and it works. I was like I don't know if this is gonna work so I got a satellite but I am really gonna learn to work with my energy and you know, wake up, move my body, create, take a break, move my body create and really work with that energy flow. I'm super pumped about that. The benefit of also being a wet summer so far is that there's no fire ban meaning I can sit by the fire and read and create. And I'm just so fucking excited. And the highlight of the summer. I'm doing a birthday trip to Seattle to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They're my favorite fucking band. I love them. Their new albums awesome. John. Ashanti is back in the band. They play I think August 3 My birthday is August 8. So I'm making it a birthday party for me myself and I but also like I have some you know, cool things that are available to you, the listeners, the community if you want to work with me, but first, I want to know Theresa, if people want to get into your world do you have space available for clients this summer? Like what do you what do you have? Like how can how can I send business your way? What are you looking for?

Ooh, what am I looking for? I love that. First of all, I do hope that at one point I can come crash at your campsite because I want to see it. I want to experience it. I am not a campfire at all this will be a complete like putting myself out of my comfort zone. So I feel like it's perfect so if you'll have me I will find your attend to rent.

To it'll we know what Shane could stay home and you and I can snuggle we have a queen size bed. Love it. Yeah. Even if not our table turns into a bed so you don't need us. You don't need a tent. I have a tent if you want. But you know you are Rupal

okay, I love it. Well, I would love to sleep somewhere where I don't have to fear to be eaten by a bear or cougar or tango,

just mosquitoes just mosquitoes.

Theresa Lambert:

Anyways, like this is like we're living in the wild people we're living in the wild. What am I really excited about? Who am I calling in? What who could you send my way? Love these love these questions. One, what you said about really being energetically like working on our on my energy like is huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge. I'm stepping into some big time. CEO lives like I am an excellent CEO. People call me when they want to get shit done. I am known for the person that when teams fall off track when businesses fall off track, people call me like, and I haven't been living into that. So I am really channeling my own co vibes. And with that, who I'm calling in, is one to one clients. Actually, I have 5121 spots open for open right now. And one, we'll open up for our gifts. And I want to like I'm really ready to fill these spots. So I'm calling in coaches, that and service based entrepreneurs that are ready to scale from five to six figures that are ready to really step into that CEO role that are ready to really get strategic, do the inner work and show up in their businesses in a way that is so powerful and so potent. And that puts themselves first and that is building their business around their lifestyle that allows them to have the space that they want in the summer in the winter when they travel like I don't care but like it takes some determination. It takes discipline, it takes commitment, it takes grit, it takes resilience, it takes patience, it takes compassion, like but stepping into this role is huge. What about you, Blair? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, don't done it. We're still on you. First of all, amazing what I think that let's just do a little bit of reminder here get Theresa is not just fucking my badass bestie she's just not, you know, a sister from another mister. She worked for a boutique hotel in Whistler and took a seven figure business to an eight figure business, her coaching business. But she started in a pandemic. When she was full time, she hit six figures in like, what, two years? That's like, unheard of. I didn't hit six, six figures from well, more than two years, because I didn't know what I was doing. But Teresa knows how to grow a business. She's grown her business massively. She's grown other people's businesses massively. So like, do you want in on that? Do you want her to basically launch you so you make money, like, you know, depending on what your industry is, like, if you're in any sort of realm of coaching, she is someone who is going to take your business to the next level. Because what I've seen being laid down as the foundation for Teresa, and watch her build what she's done on this foundation, I've seen her do it with her clients. Okay, so I am so excited to it. Like I love that I truces my bestie. So I don't. I learned from her every time she opens her mouth. And I'm very lucky. Remember, I've been doing this for 14 years, actually, my business is 14 years old. I've been doing this for about 15 years, I know what I'm doing. And I can teach you how to get the exposure that I've gotten for yourself. So, you know, that's just kind of high level of what I'm working on this summer. I mean, like I have a couple clients and stuff and some stuff I can't really talk too much about but I'm just really excited to create and I know you know, we've talked about this Teresa, but in stillness we create and I'm really excited to be still and in the woods even come out we have a kayak or paddleboard you know, lying on the beach, just listening to music, meditating, journaling, you know, I'm almost finished my first journal, like I've never written a full journal cover to cover, I have two pages left and really excited to fill up more journals and you know, in stillness, I will create. A - like you are such a legend when it comes when it comes to public relations when it comes to creating a buzz when it comes to creating the the models and the tools and the systems to be able to get clout to be able to position yourself as a thought leader to secure the media, the public relations, the attention that puts you in the spotlight in a way that celebrates your achievement in a way that celebrates what you do in a way that celebrates what you stand for. And one of the things I wrote down for myself, as I was reflecting on some things that I haven't been doing and recently was I haven't been pitching to media. I haven't been writing as many articles as I usually do. And I had bled my head being like, Yeah, gotta pitch you got to put yourself you got to get your message out there. And it's so true because let me tell you something, when you are out there when you have the media attention when you get to public relations when you do it right when you land, the right media outlets. That exposure drives tremendous amount of traffic to your products, programs and services and that traffic converts into clients Which means you make more money, honey, which is what you want. And it gives you the expert status that so many of us want. That also means these big publications put their publication that cloud they believe. And they back you, they say what she has to say what he has to say, is valid, you got to read this because we believe that you got to read it. And that's why we're printing it. So to be able to be featured somewhere like Forbes, or somewhere like entrepreneur and go like, even like authority magazine, or thrive global, or like some of these publications, let alone landing, podcasting spots landing, like all different ways, or ultimately, maybe like player ending up on a billboard, or New York Times Square, which was like, the most epic thing ever, like what I've just seen her real, like actual lies, for our own PR, I was just sitting back and I was like, holy shit. She's a rock star, she is traveling, she's in Hollywood, she's in New York, she's on billboards. She's like landing this mad amount of like media. And that's the thing, like, because Blair is in that world, because she has fucking made it because she's landing incredible media, her contacts are priceless. Because her ability to help you get media is directly related to her ability to build relationships in this industry, as well. And she has the relationships, she has the clout, she's out there. And so I, you know, I know that I learned from you so much, I'm so happy that I'm part of your empowerment program. I'm so happy to dive deeper into this, especially as I'm like, okay, focus gotta get back on PR. And I get to tap into her genius as much as she taps into my genius. And that's amazing. And I can tell you that if you are in the, in the business of you know, attraction marketing, if you desire people to come to you, if you don't want your business to be 90% outreach, but instead 90%, inbound traffic, PR and media, and doing social media write is going to be critical. Because if you don't have that, or if you don't do it, well, it's not going to work. So your effort is not going to have the impact that you wanted to have.
